Econovation´s expertise is focussed on dosing, mixing and dissolving. With the patented ecowirl system, econovation provides those competencies since 2012 for paper industry and since 2014 for water and waste water treatment. Ecowirl is suitable for liquid and gaseous additives to mix into low and high volumes. In the paper industry traditional applications are mixing and dosing of polymers for retention or flocculation of fiber suspensions and sludges. In water and waste water treatment the dosage of iron salts and aluminates as precipitating agents for an efficient phosphate and suspended solids elimination is a typical field for ecowirl. As well is the dissolving and preparation of undiluted, sterile, liquid polymer in an ecowirl instead of a traditional polymer preparation station. Advantages of the ecowirl process is the easier and more flexible handling.

Polymer direct dosing in a flotation plant of a cardboard producing paper mill
The undiluted, sterile,liquid polymer merchandize emulsion is dissolved and prediluted with a small ecowirl system online. A second medium sized ecowirl is used to mix the prepared polymer solution within seconds into a full stream inlet flow to a flotation plant. Both ecowirls are driven by the clean outlet water from the flotation plant. This leads to the advantage of fresh water saving and a fast and flexible process design.
