Lots of companies still produce their process water based on high quality natural or drinking water. However, environmental standards are beoming ever stricter, meaning that there are less and less available resources and that these are therefore more expensive. The costs of process water treatment are made up of: water usage and disposal, energy costs and - when using the membrane process - the specific costs for membrane replacement.
The OSMS Membrane Systems GmbH developed a high-pressure reverse osmosis facility in 2005 for the Süd-Chemie AG's site in Heufeld.
OSMO has developed a new concept aimed at recycling used acid baths, which were used in the producktion of pressure plates, in close cooperation with a customer specialzing in the field of surface technology.
